The plantation comprises 407 acres, and extends from a hard surface road to navigable salt water near the Chesapeake Bay. It is convenient to three nice villages, where there are schools, churches, etc. There is long frontage on the water, and the waterfront can be developed if desired. Approximately 260 acres are in cultivation or pasture and the balance in woodland. Part of the home is pre-revolutionary with a later addition. It has 7 rooms and bath, and nice old floors and woodwork, and with a fireplace in both the living room and dining room. Also a new oil burner heating plant and cellar. There is a also a new guest cottage with 4 rooms and bath. Farm buildings comprise tenant house, large barn and complement farm buildings. The plantation is offered complete with Angus cattle, hogs and farm machinery for $85,000.
